Checkpoints and Killzones
This week the focus of class was to create kill zones, as well as checkpoints that you could respawn at if you hit one of the kill zones.
We made a screen that would fade in using text and code that could make it fade to black, however I decided to learn how to import images to a widget so that I could include the Darksouls "you died" screen instead.

We also made code for the checkpoint, which will check the last touched checkpoint if the player dies, and respawn them there. It also works so if no checkpoint is hit before dying, you will respawn at the original point you loaded in at.
Lastly, is the code to kill the player and activate all of this if they touch a kill zone. Additionally the kill zones can be scaled and altered in the viewport, to get the exact desired size or obstacle for players.
